Guyanese social media star Lola Doll, whose real name is Lolita Callender, was shot multiple times late Saturday night on September 6, 2025, while sitting in her car just outside her Georgetown home. A motorcyclist opened fire around 11:35 p.m., striking her in the neck, face, hands, and right leg. She was rushed to Georgetown Public Hospital, where authorities report she remains in critical condition.

Lola’s brother described the scene as chilling and traumatic. He said he heard the shots, ran outside to find his sister bleeding profusely, and immediately rushed her to the hospital. Her resilience has kept her alive during this harrowing ordeal.
Police Hunt Begun
Authorities have identified the prime suspect as Paul Daby Jr., issuing a wanted bulletin for attempted murder. A separate individual has been arrested and is now cooperating with investigators. CCTV footage is being reviewed to trace the gunman’s movements and motive.
