Yella Beezy’s Murder-for-Hire Trial Scheduled for February 2026

Court Date Set for Dallas Rapper Yella Beezy

Markies Conway, better known as Yella Beezy, is set to stand trial for his alleged role in orchestrating the murder of rapper Mo3. The capital murder trial is scheduled to begin on February 2, 2026, as confirmed in recent court documents.

In March 2025, Beezy was arrested and charged with capital murder for allegedly hiring paid hitman Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the shooting in 2020.([turn0search0])

The Alleged Plot Behind the Crime

Mo3 (Melvin Noble) was fatally shot during broad daylight while driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas in November 2020. Investigators say White carried out the shooting, and evidence—including a $40,000 cash withdrawal shortly after the crime—is cited as part of the motive and planning.([\turn0search0], [turn0search4])

Life on House Arrest Until Trial

Following the indictment, Beezy was released on a $750,000 bond and confined to house arrest under electronic monitoring. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. If convicted of capital murder, he faces the death penalty under Texas law.
