Raja Jackson, 25-year-old son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, made headlines after an unsettling incident at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles on August 23, 2025.
Footage streamed live on Kick shows Raja entering the ring amid a match with Syko Stu (Stuart Smith), a pro wrestler and U.S. Army veteran. What initially appeared as part of the scripted performance quickly devolved when Raja violently slammed Stu onto the mat and delivered more than 20 punches to his head, despite Stu showing no resistance. Smith was swiftly hospitalized with serious injuries, though Jackson later confirmed he is awake and stable.
In his statement, Quinton Jackson condemned his son’s actions but suggested the scene may have originated from an unsanctioned “play” that spiraled out of control. He noted that Raja was recovering from a concussion and “had no business” participating in a wrestling event—he’s an MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler. Jackson expressed deep concern for both his son’s well-being and Syko Stu’s recovery, and apologized to the public and streaming platform Kick.
