Natalia Bryant’s Restraining Order Renewed and Expanded to Protect Her Family

A judge has granted Natalia Bryant a five‑year extension on her restraining order against an alleged stalker, now including her mother Vanessa and her sisters Bianka and Capri under the court’s protection.

Natalia Bryant, the 22‑year‑old daughter of the late NBA star Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant, has secured a five‑year extension on her restraining order against an alleged stalker. The order, originally granted in 2022, has now been expanded to include her mother and younger sisters as protected individuals.

According to court documents, the restraining order extension comes after several incidents involving the same individual, Dwayne Kemp, who allegedly violated the original order. In one reported instance, Kemp attempted to contact Natalia by showing up at an event she was associated with and bringing flowers meant for her. When he could not locate Natalia, he allegedly tried to give the flowers to her mother, Vanessa Bryant — a move her legal team cited as a continued disregard for the protection order.

The amended restraining order now protects Vanessa Bryant and Natalia’s sisters Bianka and Capri, reflecting the court’s concern for the safety of the entire Bryant family following the stalker’s persistent behavior. The order is designed to keep Kemp at a legally mandated distance and restrict his ability to make contact in person, through communication, or via third parties.

Natalia first filed for the restraining order in 2022 after the individual began contacting her on social media as a teenager. Over time, the contact allegedly escalated to inappropriate behavior and unwanted attempts to approach her in person. The extension and expansion of the order underscore ongoing concerns about security and personal safety for Natalia and her family.

Authorities have previously noted that the stalker exhibits obsessive behavior and has a history that includes firearm ownership and prior convictions, heightening the perceived risk. The court’s recent decision is intended to provide long‑term legal protection and peace of mind for the Bryant family.
