Body Found Chopped Up in Tesla Registered to Singer D4vd: LAPD Launches Death Investigation

Hollywood Tow workers triggered the chilling revelation on September 8 when they noticed a foul odor emanating from an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood lot. LAPD responded, discovering human remains tightly wrapped in plastic inside the car’s front trunk. The vehicle was registered to 20-year-old musician D4vd, a Houston-raised, Queens-born artist known for hits like Here with Me and Romantic Homicide and currently on his “Withered” world tour.

Given the severity of the scene—described by TMZ as containing “chopped up” remains—the case has been officially classified as a death investigation.

Despite the vehicle’s direct registration to him, authorities have clarified there is no evidence at this time linking D4vd to the death; the Tesla could have been stolen or used without his knowledge.

Forensic analysis is ongoing, and the identity of the deceased remains protected for now as investigations continue.
