DJ Enuff Speaks Out
DJ Enuff—Hot 97’s longtime afternoon heavy-hitter of nearly 30 years—was unexpectedly let go from the station. In a new interview with TMZ, he publicly called out Funkmaster Flex, suggesting Flex orchestrated a time-slot takeover and played a role in his departure:
“Funk Flex got me fired … he snaked me behind the scenes,” Enuff said, visibly emotional, standing alongside his wife and former colleagues.([turn0search0])
What’s Really Going On
Contrary to earlier retirement rumors, Funkmaster Flex has only shifted his show from the 7 PM slot to a new 5–10 PM slot, effective after Labor Day. This means Enuff—and DJ Camilo—lost their spots, while Nessa “Nitty” will now host from 1–5 PM. Flex has yet to address Enuff’s claims publicly.
