Arrest Comes Just After New Album Drop
Dallas-based rap artist BigXthaPlug was arrested early Friday, August 22, 2025, just hours after hosting an album release party for his latest project, “I Hope You’re Happy”.
Charges: Marijuana & Firearm Possession
According to Dallas County Jail records, Landum, 27, was booked on two charges:
- Possession of marijuana (under 2 ounces)
- Unlawful possession of a firearm
There has been no bond posted yet.
